We deliver and ship to over 100 countries around the world. Forme Moderne offers all its customers an excellent service for the shipment of their purchase.
Fragile and large deliveries
To protect the furniture of large and fragile volumes, for international shipments outside the EEC, we make to measure, in our carpentry workshop, additional protections in wooden boxes.
We only use leading freight forwarders in the sector, which have branches all over the world, specialized in the transport of furniture, Vintage and Art products.

DELIVERY AND SHIPPING COSTS
Our products are shipped all over the world with different companies and with insured goods and customized packaging. This service depends on the number of orders the customer books, the address, the size and weight of the product. Import taxes and customs and administrative costs on items shipped outside the European Union are not included in the costs of shipping and delivery, and must be paid before the latter is carried out.
The following areas are excluded from our customs and administrative costs:
France: Corsica and all the French islands
Germany: all German islands
Greece: all the Greek islands
Italy: all the Italian islands
Portugal: Madeira and Azores
Spain: all the Spanish islands, Ceuta and Melilla
The whole of the European Union EXCEPT England
northern Ireland
Before placing an order to other areas that have customs duties, write an email to info@formemoderne.it to find out what the customs cost is. We also remind you that this list is not exhaustive and we may require additional costs for shipments to remote areas.
Return
If you purchased your products on formemoderne.com you can make the return free of charge as (remember that if you return a product after the expiry of the right of withdrawal - 3 days from the delivery date - you will not be refunded the costs incurred for the delivery of your order). Alternatively, you can request the paid product collection service. The Return service is ALWAYS ALWAYS TO AGREE ON THE BASIS OF THE COUNTRY OF DESTINATION AND THE VOLUME OF THE PRODUCT. Therefore, please send an email to info@formemoderne.it first.
Delivery time
Delivery times are calculated from the delivery of the order (finalization of the contract) and from the moment in which FORME MODERNE receives payment in the case of a purchase by bank transfer.
The product is delivered on time by our supplier (listed above) as part of the corresponding agreement with the supplier.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
The times that characterize an order are the following:
Within 10 in France Belgium Spain Greece, Portugal, Germany and for all the neighboring nations of Italy
Within 2 weeks for the whole European Union
2-4 weeks for DELIVERY to countries outside the European Union:
Within 2-4 weeks for the US and Americas
To be agreed with the carrier for Asia and Oceania.
QUARANTINE
International deliveries do not include, unless expressly agreed, the costs arising from quarantine or fumigation (such as for Australia and Asia), which must be paid by the customer before delivery. Failure to pay may lead to delays (for which FORME MODERNE does not assume responsibility) and, in the most extreme cases, the return of the goods to our warehouse, with the consequent charge of additional expenses.
For some countries we are able to calculate and pay these costs for you too, providing an All Inclusive service (DDP - Delivered Duty Paid).
All international deliveries are made exclusively on the street level, only for areas accessible to medium / large trucks (feasibility and cost for limited traffic areas and historic centers to be confirmed). Transport within the building or to other floors, removal of packaging and assembly is not included. The customer must provide assistance to the carrier for the unloading of bulky items if required.

If you want, you can also choose the "Collect You" option and collect the goods directly using your trusted freight forwarder: in this case we will provide you with an "ex warehouse" quotation for the chosen furnishings.
DIRECT WITHDRAWAL
It provides for direct collection from our warehouse, and is a free option available for all products.
If you wish to personally collect the ordered products, you can do so at our warehouse in Milan, at the following times:
Mon-Fri 9.00-13.00 / 14.00-17.00
Closed on Saturday and Sunday

Standard delivery
If the destination is an apartment, a house on one level or on several levels, the goods will be delivered at the entrance to the building, on the street level. Standard delivery does not include the transport of goods either inside the building, or on the upper or lower floors, or in Restricted Traffic Areas and for Historic Centers.
Right of withdrawal for a delivery error
FORME MODERNE immediately informs the customer in case of any type of impediment concerning the shipment that makes it impossible to respect the agreed terms. The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract if the delay exceeds 15 days. This does not affect the customer's legal right of withdrawal. FORME MODERNE also has the right to break the contract if the delay exceeds two weeks. In case of withdrawal by the customer and / or Forme Moderne, the customer will be reimbursed for any payment already made.
